1. Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any freight transportation services arranged through Southern Premier Logistics LLC (“SPL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this site or requesting a quote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit a quote request.
2. Quote Requests
Quote requests submitted through our website are non-binding estimates. A shipment is not scheduled, and no transportation contract is formed, until a written booking confirmation is issued and accepted by both parties. All rates are subject to verification of shipment details, including weight, dimensions, commodity class, access conditions, and route.
3. Services
SPL arranges or provides interstate freight transportation for general commercial cargo. We reserve the right to refuse hazardous, prohibited, or unsafe cargo, and to subcontract portions of a move to qualified motor carriers. Service descriptions on this site are for general information and do not guarantee specific equipment, routing, or transit times unless confirmed in writing.
4. Shipper Responsibilities
The shipper is responsible for accurate shipment descriptions, proper packaging, secure loading, lawful contents, and timely loading and unloading. You must disclose any special handling requirements, access restrictions, or hazardous materials before pickup. Failure to disclose may result in additional charges, refusal of service, or termination of carriage.
5. Rates, Charges, and Payment
Rates are based on the information provided at the time of quotation. Additional charges may apply for liftgate service, inside delivery, re-delivery, detention, lumper fees, fuel surcharges, or accessorials not included in the original quote. Payment terms are due as stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Liability and Claims
SPL’s liability for cargo loss or damage is limited to the terms of the applicable bill of lading, motor carrier contract, or federal regulations. Claims must be filed in writing within the time limits required by the governing bill of lading or carrier rules tariff, and must include supporting documentation. SPL is not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, customs, force majeure, or other conditions outside our reasonable control.
7. Website Use
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You may not use it to transmit malware, spam, or fraudulent requests; scrape or reverse-engineer the site; or interfere with its operation. We may suspend access or remove content that violates these rules.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to SPL and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any content without our prior written permission.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
